Emma Boys March On in City Tyres Chenga Challenge

The south western leg of the nationwide City Tyres Under-14 Chenga Challenge regional qualifiers ended on the weekend at Kabale municipal stadium.

The tournament is specifically organized for youngsters not older than 14 years and has already toured the regions of West Nile, Central, North and Kampala, among others. In Kabale, six teams from the area battled for supremacy on the field and the rights to represent the region at the national finals to be held in Masaka later in August.

But at the end of the non-stop action, Emma Boys FC from Katuna overcame the challenge of Real Kids of Ntungamo to lift the title and with it Shs 700,000. On their part, Real Kids of Ntungamo took home Shs 300,000 that City Tyres, the tournament sponsors, offers to outstanding teams.

Emma Boys join Kids of Arua, Kitebi, Gulu Academy and Alpha Academy as the qualified teams to the national championship.
