Bishop Bamwoze stable, discharged

Jinja. Retired Bishop of Busoga Diocese Cyprian Bamwoze has been discharged from hospital but still needs close medical attention, his successor Dr Michael Kyomya has revealed.
“I talked to the bishop and he told me he was being discharged but aised to remain around Kampala where he can easily be monitored by his doctors,” Dr Kyomya told a meeting of the Diocesan Council at the weekend. Bishop Bamwoze fell ill in the run up to Easter and was admitted to Jinja hospital on Good Friday over digestive issues but was transferred to Nakasero Hospital, in Kampala on April 7.
