Big Brother – Ellah’s Nine Lives

Ellah has the proverbial nine lives of a cat, for sure, and she has lived through five already, after surviving Sunday’s eviction yet again.

Clearly, housemates now see her as serious competition for that $300,000 grand prize, after Africa saved her yet again. Like all the other evictions, Ellah looked like the most vulnerable one last Sunday, especially with the East African vote split with Rwanda’s Frankie, who was also up for eviction.

Kenya, Tanzania and Ghana – home to Ellah’s best friend Kacey Moore – helped us save our beauty queen from the axe. Frankie, voted by only Rwanda, and Permithias who bagged only Namibia’s vote, did not survive evictions.

This week, Mr 265 from Malawi, leads the nominees’ list, with Macky 2 (Zambia) not far behind. Macky 2 admitted he thought Ellah would just be a blonde airhead at the beginning of the show, but after being saved for the fifth time by Africa, it is clear she is g competition, and he is worried.

Sipe, who had also made the nomination list, won head of house on Monday and used her power to enjoy immunity this week and instead add South Africa’s Samantha onto the nominees’ list. Samantha is joined by Idris (Tanzania), Mr 265, Macky 2 and the Tswana beauty Goitse (she was put up by Biggie for not respecting his command to freeze) on the chopping block.

Ugandans, vote like crazy. Three housemates are likely to go home this weekend. We owe Tanzania a favour, because we will need them later. Vote on bigbrotherafrica2014.org for free, or use WeChat, or simply type “Vote Idris” and SMS to code 8884 on MTN, Orange, Warid, Airtel or utl.
