2014 Copa Coca-Cola Championship Qualifiers Set

The regional finals from which teams will qualify for the annual Copa Coca-Cola national event are in top gear.

In Kampala region, Mengo SS was disqualified from Lubaga division for fielding ineligible players against Lubiri SS. Mengo was faulted for using students who had repeated some classes, which is against the rules of the competition.

Lubiri is joined by Uganda Martyr’s High School to represent Lubaga division to Kampala regional qualifiers that are being held at Old Kampala SS, Kibuli SS and Buziga Islamic grounds respectively.

With Kibuli and Lubiri in the same group, it means only one of the two former champions will qualify for the main tournament due to be hosted by St Joseph’s College Layibi, Gulu.
